New Forest & Solent - Camping Weekend - Church Farm, Sixpenny Handley, Wiltshire - 19th - 21st July 2013
After some positive feedback from last year’s International Rally New Forest & Solent Area will be hosting a camping weekend at Church Farm, Sixpenny Handley, Wiltshire from Friday 19th – Sunday 21st July. 2013. This weekend will be more laid back than the rally we held last year with only 2 activities being organised by New Forest & Solent.
1) Organised Green lane trip onto Salisbury Plain. This will take place on the Saturday. Limited Numbers only.
2) Group BBQ Saturday night + Campfire.
The rest of the time we shall do as we feel which will mainly involve lazing around the campfire, drinking beer and perhaps looking under the bonnet of a few Land Rovers. Members are more than welcome to take themselves off for some gentle green laning along Cranborne Chase if Salisbury Plain doesn’t take your fancy. Please note we have exclusive use of the campsites Rally Field for this weekend. Booking information and prices will follow shortly. Members also have the option to stay on the main campsite, although this will cost extra.
Rally Field Price: £9.00 per unit per night.
Note: There is a micro brewery in the village.

Workshop Meet - with a hands on welding theme.
Time: 10:00
Location: Wisteria, Wigley, Ower, Romsey, Hampshire, SO51 6AF
Note: A bit tricky to find. Essentially turn right straight after passing The Vine Inn onto Old Salisbury Road. Take the first left down a private road (gravel ish) track. The house is half way down on the left.
We shall stand around in Andrew's workshop drinking tea & eating biscuits while looking at Land Rover parts. There will be a chance for members to have a go at the various types of welding, an essential skill for those of us with an original chassis. This is a warm workshop with plenty of under cover area, so bad weather shouldn't be a reason not to come along!
