Andover Classic Car Show , Wyke Down, 25th April.
Some photos from the New Forest & Solent Series 2 Club stand at Andover Classic Car Show.

8:40am. The 109" and the Lightweight arrive to setup base camp for the day..

Sometime after 8:40am.. Notice how great care has been taken with the choice of deck chairs. Again, this is all part of the 'Period' look..

Some shade was required. It was a very hot day.

I'd just like to point out, that Jules bonnet is the one thats up. Anyone seeing a pattern here??

Talking Land Rovers..

This photo is almost like an advert for some garden chairs from the 1960s!

Bonnet up on Jules Land Rover. Meanwhile, we are in the process of making good use of the day, by changing his gearbox rear oil seal.

The Lightweights first outting after its MOT. It managed its epic trip all the way from the New Forest to Andover.... event free!

A photo taken from the roof of my 109"

Meanwhile, back in Dry Dock. the rear prop is off, and we've discovered the problem. Jules's handbrake springs had snapped, and the bottom shoe was loose in the drum! - Doh!

No problem, we'll clean them up and fit a new gearbox oil seal..

All nice and clean.

A spot of lunch. - Note: The tool box is acting as a windshield.

15:45, People start to head home to beat the traffic. We had 9 Land Rovers in all, which is the best turn out yet.
Till next time!
