Greenlaning 6th Novemberl 2011: South Somerset/West Dorset

Quite possibly the biggest chips I've ever seen!

A few minor adjustments before setting off..

A quick tour of the Ariel Atom Factory.

Spot the odd one out..

You can go fast, I can go anywhere..

Jules tries greenlaning with no hands..

And nearly runs me over!

Richard tackles it like any normal person..

Excellent weather for this time of year..

A bit of mud..

Bit more mud..

James gets stuck. He knew he wouldn't make it, but just had to try!

A gentle bimble up some hills.

Jules, doing what he does best. Adjusting his mixture on the fly!

Quick tea break..

A small ford..

Another tea break on top of a hill.

At this point I was wearing a tshirt. Crazy considering its November!

Ready to go again..

Richard has a flat tyre, so we wait and eat a pot noodle..

Clive tightens the wheel. It seems the South West Area and known for getting flat tyres while laning..

Sun is setting now, no idea where we are..

I think somewhere near Dorchester..heading south.

Heading towards the River Piddle.

Getting darker, we make our way closer to our last major river crossing..

Nearly there..

We stop to stretch out legs..

Ready for the river crossing..

And Clive gets stuck!! hahaha

Opps! What is he doing?!

A good day out was had by all! We hope to do this route again soon early next year! |
