Opheers ,Belgium 30th June- 4th July.
A short bimble to Belgium for some STRONG beer..



We got to Dover at 10pm ish on the Thursday night. We where put on the 12:30 ferry, which landed at Calias at a horrid time of day! We drove through the night towards Ypres. Above is the Cloth Hall in central Ypres at 5am.



05:00. Time for Tea and biscuits in the middle of Ypres square. Camping stove & PG Tips save the day!

45minutes later and a wonder round and the sun comes up.. We head on our way. This time heading for Waterloo.

We drive into Waterloo with a certain ABBA song blasting out the speakers. The locals where confused.

Many miles and driving later we arrive in Opheers around 1pm. We are tired and need a beer.

We had arrived quite early, so picked a good spot in the field.



The event was extremely well organised, with BBQ and a constant supply of good beers. Oh and lets not forget the fire each night.



BBQ Belgium style. Don't talk to me about sausages. I ate way to many. On a side note I was very impressed with the couple that came along with their Sankey kitchen trailer. English breakfast was cooked on this every morning!
