Our 2022, very laid back family friendly camping weekend will be back at the very popular Yeatheridge Farm campsite in Devon.

I am planning on a restriction free event for this one.   :banana :banana  :cheers :cheers

Both Members and non-members are welcome, the more the merrier.

This is a first class campsite that can accommodate Tents and Caravans and is the best campsite I have ever been to. Electric Hook up is included on as first come first serve basis. From memory up to 25 pitches.

Dates are: Thursday 16th through to Sunday 19th June 2022,

Location:   Yeatheridge Farm Campsite
      East Worlington
      Crediton
      Devon
      EX17 4TN
      01884 860330
      www.yeatheridge.co.uk

If you go on the Website you will see this campsite has full facilities including; Bar, Restaurant, Fishing, Walking, two heated swimming pools and all the usual facilities to make it the perfect family site. The campsite also welcomes friendly controlled dogs.

Prices are: £36.00 per pitch for the three nights, this is for one unit (Tent, Trailer Tent, Motor home, Caravan etc.) and up to six people. Electric hook up is included on a fists come first serve basis

Sorry no single nights available so its £36.00 two or three nights.

Booking is direct with the campsite, just be sure to mention you are with the Series 2 Land Rover club.

If you want to arrive earlier or stay longer this will be OK, just mention it when you book and you will be charged at a pro rata rate of £12.00 per night.

Please also book with me so as I will be allocating the pitches.

Socialising will be the priority this year as hopefully Restrictions will be a thing of the past.

We will also be bring back the King Dick competition. Details will be posted separately.

The provisional itinerary will be:

Arrive anytime on Thursday although it is usually from midday going.
Chill out Thursday evening doing whatever we feel like.

Run out late Friday morning taking in some of the local Green lanes, there will be a choice of routes.

Back to the Campsite for food in the bar or a fish and chip run or cook for yourselves, entirely up to you.

Chill out around the fire pit. (This year I am taking an oil drum so lots of wood needed please) you can also bring your own fire pit as long as it doesn’t scorch the grass.

I know we will never get a fire bigger than the New Forrest fire due to the Campsite restrictions but we can get it Higher if we try hard enough.   :whistle :whistle

Lanning again on the Saturday then back to the campsite for a BBQ, this will be £5.00 per head with all proceeds going to a local charity. An evening’s banter around the Fire pit afterwards.

Chill out on Sunday leaving for home whenever suits you. A fair few of us will take in the excellent Sunday lunch before leaving which has become a sort of tradition.

Alternatively you can do whatever you choose at any time throughout the weekend.

Breakfast is served in the Restaurant on both Saturday and Sunday morning and they do a really good Sunday Lunch made using produce from their farm.

I think that’s all the info, if you want to know anything else just ask.

This weekend has been getting bigger and better each year and this one should be no different.

As well as booking with the campsite please post if you intend to come along so we have some idea of numbers, alternatively give me a call on Mobile: 07711 121399, or e-mail: [email protected]  Sorry no Landline I have one but don’t know the number!!

Cheers

Clive
