Summer issue B2L
« on: June 18, 2022, 05:26:13 PM »

The summer issue of B2L arrived today. After a quick scan, serious reading will commence.
It's interesting to see that other Land Rovers are featured. In view of what is happening with a club that shall be nameless I think that Series 3 owners will be looking elsewhere. I was made welcome.

Great improvement Wittsend. Thanks. Even if it was explained to me in words of less than one syllable, I still wouldn't have a clue how to post photos etc on the forum.

We welcome those who have different vehicles into the Club (and forum of course). Many of our members have other vehicles besides or instead of Series 2s.
What matters is the people , rather than being insular. We pride ourselves on being inclusive.

Also worth knowing is that we are the DVLA "go to " club for both Series 2 and 3. Our VRO is recognised and able to inform the authorities on both these models.

Trundled slowly down to the local shop this morning in the Landy to collect newspaper and other bits and bobs for the weekend. Zoomed (!) back up again in the hope of finding that postie had completed his rounds. Bingo! There it was in the post box at the end of the drive. Got home, parked up, unloaded shopping and precious post, but resisted the urge to glance inside the covers - very busy afternoon planned. Planning a long leisurely reading stint tomorrow morning with no interruptions! Many thanks to all of you who put this brilliant mag together for us all to enjoy.

I haven't looked at it yet, mainly due to the fact that my son has robbed it before I even had a chance to pick it up.

Hope the write up is useful to you. After so much time sorting out my seals it was about time I wrote up the results.

It really is a great club mag.

Craig.
