Just been searching for a set of 7.50 x 16 Rangemasters for my Landy, Came across this company advertising at £88.80 each including VAT. Not sure about delivery.

Heard plenty of positive comments about camskill on other motoring groups, although not admittedly for land rovers.  :cheers

As a company Camskill are very good, be careful as there is a delivery charge, per tyre, that can add significantly to the cost.

Some of my local tyre shops will no longer fit tyres bought elsewhere

^^^^ A local family or "under the arches" type garage is what is required, rather than the chain franchises.

I think buying lose tyres is a false economy - unless you have the tyre fitting and balancing kit or a mate who can do it for you.

Save a few £s here and there and then spend time and £s taking them somewhere to have fitted and balanced (new tubes, new valves).

Not for me - I prefer the complete package. Drive in - coffee - drive out with new boots.

^^^^ The compromise is an operation like Black Circle. "Chain" prices but fitted by your local garage.

The only problem is that the garage can limit how many slots they have if they are busy with other stuff, so not too hot if you NEED a tyre right now.

You'll save a lot of money buying a used set on rims, already balanced and ready to go. You then sell your worn out (but legal) ones to the unenlightened to start them on their educational journey, and get a chunk of the money back

(I've got some XZLs for sale!  :whistle  :-X)

£88 plus £4 delivery plus a fitting charge at your local tyre fitter you wont be much different to ATS.

If you are not desperate wait until ATS have an offer on.

The local workshop I use for mots on all our cars fits tyres too, similar price to the chains but without all the annoying up selling of your brakes shocks etc etc need replacing urgently.
