Mpudi: So how did the land rover get up the tree?
Steyn: Do you know she has flowers on her panties?
Mpudi: So that's how it got up the tree.

Took the LWT out for it's first drive in over a year...

Started up on the 2nd long crank with full choke (fuel is a year old + preservative)  :-*
She's a bit shabby now, but I need to tidy her up for selling on....

Fitted passenger side courtesy sill panels, and then the frame for a bench seat in the rear. Of course tomorrow I’ll have to unbolt the seat to use this as a template to drill the back bench part, before I screw this to the frame.   Plans are to put fuel in the tank this weekend and drive (well reverse) my Series 2 out of the garage and onto public roads for the first time since it was trailered to me, and pushed into the garage one cold (-35c) winters day, thanks the cold hands of my neighbours and I  :cheers

Pulled a people-carrier van out of the ditch down on the Forest Drive. Neighbours say its the 3rd incident in two weeks. Tourists swerving, trying to avoid the potholes.... This time it was 6 Israelis in a Mercedes Minibus thing.
