Series 2s in Film
« on: April 29, 2021, 07:53:17 PM »

Is there a separate thread for these?

I’m watching an American film called Walking Out, nothing to write home about but there is a nice LHD Series 2 or 2a. Lights in the grille and individual wiper motors, I haven’t seen much detail but there are plenty of shots from behind.

There's a Series 2A featured tonight in Wheeler Dealers on Quest
tonight at 9pm, Freeview HD channel 114. Does that count as film?

There is somewhere on the internet an all encompassing website that lists all known appearances of Series Land Rovers in films (and TV) - including "Ice Cold in Alex"  :stars

I’ve just watched it and noticed the 2a has a Series 2 Club brass radiator badge.

It's not a SII/IIa, but the movie Trollhunter has a rather interesting SIII kitted out for hunting trolls!
