Hi, I find myself short of part number 331675 which is the horizontal aluminium insert for the 3/4 canvas.

I have a pair of nos vertical pieces [the more complicated parts] but am short of the horizontal piece which joins them.

From memory it is a simple length of aluminium strip the same width and thickness as the verticals but I do not know the length or position of the pair of 3/8"[?] holes in it.

Supposedly Craddocks have them in stock [I wouldn't take a bet on it :stars] and Exmoor trims' website says they sell them separately but they are a bit expensive for a simple strip of Aluminium.

Don't suppose anyone has one laying about which they could measure for the position of the holes  [ on the c/l of the aluminium strip ?, centre to centre of the pair] ?

Can’t tell the dimension of the original hole centres, but when I made mine, I just cut the top strip to length to suit the hood, laid the vertical pieces over it to form the corners and marked through the holes.

I have the full set laid on the bench awaiting fitting. I can provide you with some dimensions tomorrow.

Thank you very much for that. Just what I required.

I was going to do as Gibbo103 suggested if nobody could help but the forum excels once again :first

Thanks again for the help with dimensions.

A couple of pics. of the [almost] finished vehicle. The first is after fitting the goalposts and gutters, hoodsticks, spare wheel well and bracket, plus wear strips on floor.

Second is tonight after its first trip away -- performed well and waterproof, unlike my old caranex which will need some Fabsil treatment before I use it again.
