Potential Future Club Members?
« on: May 28, 2021, 06:20:52 PM »

Some pics found on Facebook today of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paying tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh by arriving for a drive-in cinema event at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in one of his Land Rovers (a Series IIa). The couple, joint Patrons of NHS Charities Together, hosted NHS Staff for a screening of Disney’s Cruella #RoyalVisitScotland

Might be worth asking the D of C whether he’d like to be Patron of the S2 Club....?

I wonder if they could be persuaded to take part in the Norfolk firefighters charity run?

A right Royal "bitsa"?

Not really, its history is well documented, it began as a series II prototype in 1956, then brought to production spec in 1966. Gained a 2.6 engine around that time, and later still gained series 3 front end, all done at the factory.
