Excellent Customer Service - Blanchards

I ordered a part on Sunday, message yesterday that it had been posted. Great.

....and this morning an apologetic phone call to say the wrong part has been sent, right part is on its way.

Top Class recovery in my opinion, to let me know about the error and correct it before the wrong part has even arrived.

I've always had excellent service from Blanchard's. When I accidentally duplicated an on line order, I phoned and was told they realized the order was duplicated and cancelled one
A real shame they're going to close.

....and the Postie drove right past without stopping, so I thought I'd be waiting till tomorrow. He re-appeared 10 minutes later, got out with the small box....puzzled look on his face when I told him "That's the wrong bit..." before he had a chance to hand it over.

In the interest of balance I would add that on Monday morning I ordered parts from both Blanchards and Craddocks (only the second time in a long time I've ordered from them but they were the only place who claimed to have the series one parts I was looking for).

Blanchards usual efficient comms, I'm sure they will be here in the next day or so, slightly surprised they didn't arrive today as they are normally super speedy.

Craddocks, emailed before lunchtime yesterday to say it had been dispatched (within 2hours of placing the order) , arrived before 11am today. All parts correct, nothing missing, well packed.  I have to say after the misery last year, that's now two craddocks orders I've placed in the last couple of months, and in both cases they have arrived next working day.
