Should have taken a Landy.
« on: October 09, 2019, 06:50:41 PM »

I have just had a few days away in welsh Barmouth........I decided not to take the 2 because it is so bumpy, and its quite a few miles. So I took the Disco.
BUT.....I noticed that after bumping through Herefordshire and Shropshire, we came into Wales...Wow what a difference, the rest of the journey was like driving on Pendine sands, or a giant billard table. Lovely smooth tarmac, right to the edge. No potholes, and no obvious repairs.   A pleasure to drive on.
So why can't we have roads like that in England I wonder.   I would take my Series 2 for longer journies if we had.

Very important for politicians to feel they're appreciated and road users outnumber the sick.

^^^ that would certainly be an effective way of getting promises kept  :first

having said that we'd need the current Ford truck factory strike to be cancelled to get all the Brexit promises kept  :agh
