Series front seat cushion
« on: October 25, 2021, 09:58:42 AM »

Can anyone recommend a decent front seat for series land rovers. I have Britpart standard seat cushions in at the moment and they are an instrument of torture. I seem to remember that my old series 2 had springs in the cushions with horse hair filling. All the modern seat cushions just seem to be cheap foam.
Any help appreciated.

Get a Defender front seat, you can pick them up fairly cheaply especially the tatty ones, new covers are readily available on the internet along with Youtube vids of how to recover them, they fit in the same bolt holes, the seat bases come out to give acces to the under seat panels and they are majorly comfortable. Hang on to the old seats if you want to preserve the originality.
