I DON'T KNOW IF THIS WILL WORK ???
« on: November 05, 2021, 06:23:41 AM »

Hi,

I'm trying to post a spread sheet, which might be elf explanatory, assuming it arrives. It will need a second sheet before it becomes meaningful.

Fingers crossed. If the attachment doesn't work, I'll make other arrangements.

You can 'save as' xls or xlsx which will save your problem.

Hi,

I have misplaced Plan B.  I don't know if the "three dots" are the answer, but I couldn't find them anyway./

So, I'll do the remaining work, and stick a stamp on it.

A .odg file extension relates to a file type generated by the Open Office suite of free programmes.

We don't get many of those on here.
I could throw the switch to allow them ???

Better save your document/spreadsheet from Open Office into Excel format - either as .xls or (better) as .xlsx
This will be an option in your Open Office suite.

Please don't post me anything, send the file as an email attachment if you must.
I can then translate it.

Also - cut the file name length down a bit to something like "S2_brake_parts" it's a more friendly thing to do.

Hi Alan,

Thanks for that advice .... not that I understand it.  ???

Also, I have been unable to "do" Emails since converting to Windows 10, although Barbara is notified of MY emails on HER Kindle.

My Pictures and My Documents filing system usually starts with something like ... LRS2 ... followed by the registration number ... followed by either a sequence number or sometimes a brief description. Probably not very clever, but it works for me.

Hi,

Fingers crossed ...

This should be a picture of Bab's engine ... all 27 litres of it, (now running) on her first return to Pendine after being dis-interred. The spog is my son, looking particularly unimpressed. The Land Rover roof belongs a 80" (with a Rover 6-pot engine), which had towed Babs down from Scotland.

I believe Babs is on display in her dedicated museum in Pendine.

I understand that you can no longer just roll-up, and have a blast along the beach. On my last visit, I returned to the slip-way in FEU245, to find the tide had come in, and I had to wade to the ramp.

I don't know if the RAF Aberporth still test-fire SAMs over the coastal (public) highway, scary noise if you are not aware that it might happen ... a 4 ton Bloodhound would go from zero to the speed of sound in a couple of seconds. Rockets build up power, to break the shear-bolts, ram jets take over once airbourne.
