An April job...

Took the engine oil filler tube off to paint it and sort out a slight leak. I haven’t touched it in 25 years ownership and was shocked at the amount of dirt/oil trapped in the engine mount just below. See attached photo

I’m going to clean the filler tube by hand...Mrs Dave is patrolling the kitchen so the dishwasher parts washer is OOB (out of bounds) for now

When was the last time you took the oil pan out?
If it was many years ago, it would be a very good idea to take it out and wash it, there is also a lot of dirt.
It is not difficult, and your engine will thank you.
