Package...
« on: May 05, 2023, 09:36:44 PM »

I just love getting packages from PA Blanchards, always really well wrapped. Today an added bonus, a number of small parts I'd ordered packed in this lovely box ! Originally contained 5 Gaskets, NATO stock number 2530-99-849-9652, packed by Rover Co Ltd in Feb 1965, relabeled at Central Ordnance Depot Chilwell in Oct '65.

I'm going to have to store something in it now...

I bought some bits from Blanchards for my series one engine.
The engine I have was built mid 1955 and the parts I received were inspected and packed in mid 1956!

Only downside is the really thick wax like grease stuff they are covered in inside the packing. It may protect the parts really well but it takes ages to clean off!
