To be honest I'm not sure an S2C memebrship card is much use for anything - I've never heard of anyone actually producing and showing their card to a retailer to claim a discount
You can't even use the new cards to scrap the ice off your windscreen.
Why do we have cards
Well, some members like to have a card for their wallet and with modern technology the peel-off cards are easy enough to produce, so why not
No doubt, someone, somewhere is going otherwise, years ago they went to such and such shop and had to show their card for a discount
These days more and more purchasing is done online - even for car tyres. The S2C have negoaciated discounts with various suppliers - see the page on the website - and you need to apply the discount code at the checkout page on the website.
Which tyre shop are you contemplating using ?
Being in the CSMA I think your best bet would be ATS - they used to/maybe still do, give CSMA members a discount.
Your S2C card won't work in Halfords.
Indeed getting a Halfords trade card is not as easy as it once was. They won't entertain car clubs anymore.
You need to be in the trade and provide supporting evidence.
YES
You really need to sell what vehicles you have and buy a suitale car that can be adapted for Barbara's wheel chair.
