OT - Information Technology (IT). Advice & Issues.
« on: March 27, 2022, 09:39:46 AM »

Just a thought following on from some remarks in the thread about towball sizes, as I didn’t want to hijack that thread.

Is it worth having an IT Child Board under the Forum Problems section, where general queries, advice and/or comments about computers, mobile devices, programmes etc etc can be discussed?  I’m aware that “Forum Problems” does mention any problem with computers, but just wondered if a Child Board might be more specific and helpful?

I appreciate it’s hardly high on most of the issues dealt with on our classic vehicle forum, but over the nearly 14 years I’ve been on this forum I’ve noticed questions regarding IT from time to time.

I’m far from expert in IT, but I’ve never had any problem using this forum, despite never availing myself of Wittsend’s kind offer to run short training courses at an Annual Rally. A testament to how good a Forum this is I believe.

I think that's a good idea. I'll second that proposal!
