We used Shiply to move our Series with no issues but read the couriers feed back, most are fine.
These are worth a look too

Not sure what you're moving but some won't shift engines.

I have had some bad experiences with Shiply. I have therefore not used them for some years and the information below may now be out of date.

Shiply is a broker not a courier, so when you book through them the first payment you make which looks like a deposit is actually their commission (which is included within the offered price). At this point, you are on your own, so if the courier changes their mind about delivering it can be extremely difficult to get your money back. If the courier damages something you have no contract with Shiply, only with the courier, so if they don't give you the details it can be impossible to get redress for losses, damage etc.

I went over to dealing directly with couriers such as DHL, Palletline National Pallets etc. which generally seem to be quite happy to take a single shipment.

Good point made above about size - weight is not likely to be an issue. As an idea, National Pallets will do a quarter pallet that is big enough to take an engine for £52 if it's not urgent.

I  finally booked a pallet courier Palletways. I can report that there service was faultless. I would certainly use them again. If you do use them go direct as it does reduce the cost.

Engines not usually a problem usually they specify there has to be no oil in the engine ..... tell a lie at your peril as the clean up bill sent to you won't be cheap !
