Hmmm - very "impressive" but does the vehicle have some sort of ground radar or something to tell you the edge of the cliff is solid ?

It's all very well having a parking sensor, but if the rock crumbles under the weight - it would be a bit embarrassing.

On a trip round the factory, shortly before the "Defender Mk One" ceased production, I noticed the area around the cubicle where they tested for water leaks was cordoned off. Apparently this was due to "slip hazard"...... the cubicle was leaking :thud

^^^ Says it all!

When I stopped working with JLR, I was given a rather nice leather bush hat complete with small LR badge on the edge. Guess what...? It leaks...

When I did the tour, the guide said in a very serious manner, that the cubicle was there to test for leaks, and if it didn’t find any, they would send the car to rectification to have some bolt’s loosened and the leak test would be repeated until they got one ….  😆

I thought that about the parking sensors too, I’m sure mine wouldn’t detect “nothing”. If you backed most series up to the edge, put the handbrake on, and let the foot brake go, you may fall off when it drops back six inches.
