Can anyone recommend a reasonable priced pneumatic rivet gun. For solid rivets.

You can drive them with a pneumatic hammer.  I'd suggest a short-stroke one is better - and you'll probably need to turn the power down.

As for a punch - something like this will fit your air hammer:

I bought one from lidl or aldi when I was doing the last Dormobile. Worked a treat

I found a proper air tool one better. eBay used.

Hi
  I am forking out for one from Skinpins they are waiting for shipment from USA.can anyone confirm the max dia rivet used on Land Rover.ie=3/16 or 1/4 dia.Gonna start research this morning but if someone knows might save some time.

I think the rivets holding the steel crossmembers under the floor to the floor may be 1/4in, possibly steel.  I use 6mm pan headed screws and nuts for these.

I think they are 5/16, but I used nuts and bolts because I could get hold of any. Also would need a bigger snap for my rivet gun!
