Just wondering if anybody has had any spin galvanising done. The only company I can find on Google is in Yorkshire.

I had some done many years ago, ideal for small parts.

Yes, Yorkshire Spin Galvanising is the only place in the UK that will still do small private batch work. They did mine and are quite happy doing Land Rovers.
Wedge still have it but they do vast batches of bolts and reckon they lose a few in the bath. It is not worth their while to run small baskets with individual batches. Medway in Sittingbourne no longer runs spin galvanising.
It removes all the drips and runs and leaves a fairly even surface (you can even run most threads with no further clean-up). It is limited to parts about 600mm long. The longest pieces I did were the rod from the steering box to the relay, and a corner capping.

Thanks. Did you drop your off, or do they do a postal service?

I arranged drop-off and collection. I would think it should fit fine with a courier. I am not aware that they run a collection service as most of the parts going there tend to be small, unlike Wedge for example.

Thanks Alec,
I managed to speak to Peter yesterday from Spin galvanising. I had quite a lengthy conversation with him, regarding process and cost. Nice guy. He prefers drop of and collect. So plan to go up there next month.

Putting together all the small items for spin galvanising, couple of items im not sure of,
Fuel cap, can this be done?
Complete Fuel filler pipe, can the centre pipe be removed.
S2 vent adjusters I have removed the black opening knobs, can the rest be galvanised as one unit.
