old boy i know is moving into  sheltered housing. he's ok just getting on.
asked me if i would like his tool set.
this is what he gave me. i'am well chuffed and he is a very nice chap.
i have given him some game for his dinners in the past. which he said was great food.

Mayny ancient cars had valves with 2 holes in them for valve grinding tools to engage in - others had slots for screwdrivers - then someone invented the rubber sucker!

Nice set, I've got an old Brittool torque wrench, will last for ever, its done every head gasket etc etc for me over many years...

Very nice old set.
The Hex drive is often overlooked, its just as good as the square but often undervalued. Winchboy collects vintage Britool so if you are stuck for anything Britool let me know
Here is his favourite set the guy had owned it for 60 years!

that is a very good set, i might be looking for a couple of sockets, there is a couple of bits
missing in my set. i will let you know. :tiphat
