Qualcast was originally called Quality Castings, they even made kitchen furniture at one time I worked for them in 1982 to 1989.

When I was visiting Qualcast with Colleagues from BL many years ago they told us that they had  a problem with one of the furnaces and dumped a load of ash onto some  new  cars at Rolls Royce, which cost them ( or their insurers) a huge sum to rectify.
