An excellent find!  Lots of early bits (intact one piece floor, extra chassis brackets for second battery tray, super rare extra bleed nipple in the brake line, and does it have a two outlet brake/clutch fluid reservoir without a division inside?) and in amazing condition.

It also looks as if the bulkhead has been repainted in a pale blue over the original bronze green paint, as has my 1478xxxxx 88".  Is this pale blue visible on any other panels?  I have always wondered why my export vehicle was overpainted.

Nice period mod on the screen demister nozzles, they look like Morris Minor.

is the fuel filter standard 1958 ?

Should it have had a junction box (electrics) ?

Fuel filter asrrangement is standard for an early 58 SWB with a 2L engine.

Alex are you sure someone hasnt added the electric fuel pump to ypours?

My January 1960 came with an electric fuel pump attached in the same place, unused and still with plugs in the inlet/outlet! That was back in 1978 - I have no idea why it was there, or whether it had been there from new or not.
