Norfolk Mini Adventure
« on: September 05, 2019, 09:42:10 PM »

I'm back from my little Land Rover adventure in the weird and wacky world of Norfolk so I thought I'd share a few pics.
The reason for the holiday was that my Mother in Law was having a 90th birthday party. Relatives came in from all over the world to celebrate. Luckily the weather was good so the 7 seater Land Rover got a lot of use ferrying people around.

The Birthday girl got the best seat of course and loved every minute of it.

Although she wasn't so happy when her big brother got her seat (Phil is 94!)

Took him through the ford at Sculthorpe Mill to get a beer.

Also ran around delivering fridges and other party essentials...

Anyway, it was a brilliant time and the old Series 2 did me proud.

 :cheers

A great-aunt of mine, stiff with arthritis, always welcomed a Land Rover ride. She claimed it loosened up her joints. :stars

I wish I had. Saw Alan’s reminder post too late. Will try harder next time.
You guys are lucky, the Norfolk roads seem perfect for rattling around in old land rovers.

Really lovely to read about an old Series being used like that, and making people smile.
