I had the same problem with Adriand Flux in January and ended up with going through Footman James even with agreed value much more reasonable.

Hi,

There IS an alternative. Checkout the Road Traffic Acts (Para 43 .. or is it P.143?).

You can deposit £1,000,000 with the Attorney General, so effectively insuring yourself.

Barbara's incident with a supermarket articulated curtain-sider, on the M4, was such a case. They simply ignored all our mail. Luckily we had paid the extra £10 for Legal Cover.  LV found out what was going on.

LV sued the Perps, who paid up on the court house steps ... but it took time. Prompt refund increased premium, and re-instatement of full NCD.
