Land Rover Series 2 Club - 65th Anv Bonnet Challenge Update.

CALLING ALL DEVON/CORNWALL - SOUTH WEST MEMBERS

The bonnet, currently all snug in Devon after sampling some cider will be collected by a club member this Sunday and taken across the border to the 'other side' - Cornwall.

The bonnet will rest here for a week, getting used to it's new surroundings and language. Hopefully some paint & graphics will also be applied.

There will be a scenic drive/road run on Saturday 4th March to take the bonnet to Lands via The Lizard. A time and meeting place will be advised in the next few days. We will post details here.

This will be a long day road tripping in our Series Land Rovers. If you are in Cornwall/Devon and would like to join us then please post here! Pasties and cream teas/scones will be consumed throughout the day! We are looking to get as many Series Land Rovers at Lands End as possible.
Currently we have 4 Series Land Rovers coming along.

Its all on!!  The bonnet was delivered to Cornwall as planned and is now in the safe hands of Gary Alee 😊😊 The run to Lands end will go ahead this Saturday meeting in Truro at 9.30.

Our next challenge is to get it back from Cornwall to our Somerset Pub meet via as Series Land rover! I am hoping it can get there for our March Pub meet which is on Wednesday the 8th. A tall order!! Can anyone help with this please? Please post if you can be of any assistance.
