I would also have one or two pairs depending on final price.

Is anyone keeping a tally of how many pairs are being requested? Many people are saying they would like some depending on the price, is anyone offering to contact the company - besides 109 - and get prices per 50/100/150 sets? I could possibly make a purchase, depending on numbers and the understanding that I won’t be sending them out, they will need collecting from Lincolnshire, which isn’t exactly central. I probably wouldn’t get in touch with the company before 2/1/2020.

I shouldn't lift a finger until members decide they want these. To make this attractive to S2 clubbers the price needs to be close to that paid by retailers, 50-60% of retail. To do that we must persuade the distributor to drop his margin with numbers. Of course we must price-in the 'orribles - breakages, pallet, pallet courier, bank charges and broken promises etc. There is risk. And any student of human-nature needs to consider, some will back-out the second they realise these are to be collected and won't be a fiver a pop.
Unless these are already sitting on a pallet in a warehouse, the distributor needs to import. That means they must stump for these, and to do that, we still need to give them margin, and monies up-front. Or why do it? This soon gets messy.
Who knows, but even if out of the current 29, there's 25, that's not enough. Anyone's guess  - a pallet must be at least 50+. More likely 100+.
When we've a comfortable pallet of orders, I'll chase it. Make it worth the hassle, and likely the distributor will deal with the money.

That would make sense. Reality check...

All I shall do is get the pallet-quantity price, and list details of who to email with a phone numbers etc for payment.

No business can afford to handle this for free. After all, we can't have it both ways, retail price is there to cover this.

Those of you serious enough will do this, and accept there is a business to run. Hence if the pallet etc isn't paid for, the drop-out too high, a realistic admin charge is allowed to pay staff for a day of ringing round. There will be good day's wages chasing down payments. Lest we forget the same again, and all the hassle of cost of refunding charges to cards our lovely banks make, if some of you don't come good. I hope to get a web-site discount code.

So allowing for those that don't sound too sure already, another 30-40 orders gents...

For convenience of finding it, I have put the running total of interested parties in the first post of this thread.

If you are interested, please continue to tag new posts to the end of the thread and I will keep the running total updated.

100+9 - if you are going to do some ringing round, the first thing we need to know is the pallet quantity and the pallet price delivered to the distribution site. Simple maths then determines what the price per screen will be. I'm not sure where the 'business' aspect of this you refer to in your post comes from though - it will be a 'group purchase' from a supplier who will set their discount accordingly.

Personal if think that once you have a unit price, more people will be interested. If lots more people choose to buy, then you can always go back to negotiate a cheaper price.

We will definitely take a pair please - need to replace the screen anyway as badly scratched so may as well go heated.
Thanks to whoever can solve this bulk-purchase

It's worth noting who might be interested in the timer/relay mini loom on the list as well.

Cost would be around £30 each if we get less than 25 ordered, around £25 each if we get more.

I’m already down for a set but I’d like the electrical grubbings to go with them too.

Pluse a really simple idiots guide.
