Yes it's still going ahead.

I came back from Colombia and promptly picked up a heavy cold (not coronavirus!) and have also been working/travelling on business so it has taken me longer to get things moving than I anticipated. I have updated the list and contacted everyone who has expressed an interest to collate details.

The next step is to transcribe all the details collected for the 70 people onto a spreadsheet and starting to send out payment details. Once money has been collected the order will be placed. I would hope to get the spreadsheet together tomorrow and give it a couple of weeks to collect payment. Delivery is likely to be 5 weeks from order.

I would love a set of heated windscreens and harness if I am not too late. However I’m in the USA (Texas).  If shipping isn’t prohibitive I will purchase.

You are not too late - I will put something up on this thread once you are!

Shipping a single set direct to an address in the US is £129. Shipping a batch of 5 sets to a single address will be around £80 a set. It may be worth genocache, vegasbugeye, Chuckc4, cgalpin and yourself having a PM discussion between you to see whether it is practical to arrange onward transport within the US from a single point of delivery.

Hi Gene,

It will depend on how they are shipped. I can probably get a weight for a bare pair of screens, but the packaging needed will change for a single screen vs. a box-full, hence decreasing price to the US. If they were to be couriered within the US separate packaging would then be needed.

What weight would be useful to have?

The screens are being made in Spain so I would imagine nothing much is happening for a while.
