I'm going to the Rutland event on the 18th September for the weekend and then, the weekend after, I'm off to Devils bridge on the 24th September for the weekend. If the screens are going to Rutland for collection, I'm not too sure if this is happening yet? I can collect some to go to Devils Bridge for collection there. I'll be at the Woodlands Camp Site in Devils Bridge.

I’ve paid also,
Just wondered where they are now, are they down South or up North?
Also I’m in South Wales, I’m visiting Southampton in September, can possibly pick some up for anyone in my area.

Hi Sheppy
I live in Penderyn - if you could pick mine up for me I'd be most grateful.
Cheers Paul

Not sure where they are to be honest. If they are in Rutland then it’s the other opposite way to Southampton.

I might even end up getting yours for you

I am going to the Rutland camping weekend 18th to 20th September and Fluffle Valve will be there.  If he can manage to organising collection of his I ma sure he would pick yours up too and I could bring them back north.  Perhaps you need a conversation with Fluffle.  If I am right they are in deepest Essex and Fluffle is in Northampton.

People will get their screens but the forum relay will take longer to organise due to reduced travel.

The screens are currently near Birmingham. Direct collection can be made from there. A batch will also be shipped to Essex and direct collection can be made from there or Cambridge.

Beyond that, the forum relay will come into play with people collecting from one of those locations on behalf of others and moving them on, hopefully in one step, sometimes in two.

Anyone who wants them faster (or is overseas) can have them shipped by the supplier, directly from Birmingham.

Hope that clarifies.

I travel through Cambridge virtually every weekend going between Milton Keynes and North Norfolk, so happy to relay anywhere between

Thanks - that will definitely help.

The other question I haven’t answered is Rutland. Yes, the plan is if possible to get screens to Rutland for people attending and onward relay. Not quite sure on the logistics for this yet.

Not planning on camping at Rutland but can pick up my screens and any others for the Grantham, Lincoln and Boston area from there.

Yep that would be a good plan  if Alec can organise getting them to Rutland.

Do you know what the cost would be to have them shipped by the supplier to Inverness.  Just its a little too far to drive to Birmingham for me

I don't know if this helps but I bought my screens from Devon 4x4 and the cost of shipping to me was £42 as they were shipped in Devon's purpose built container and the carrier would not accept any responsibility for breakage. They arrived safely in the crate.

I can get you a figure next week, but I think you may be in luck in getting them a lot closer. I need to see how things drop into place over the next few days but if the original plan on this will still work then all the screens for Scotland should run nicely up the M6/M74 to Glasgow and then on up to Perth and across to Edinburgh. I can't remember the precise details for Inverness offhand but I don't think it was too bad.
