Watching this as I'm thinking of a brake servo but for me it would  have to be easy to fit,
but my clutch seems light, perhaps a fault or leg inbalance :stars

I have just fitted a remote servo on my S1 and its eased the pressure on my right knee no end.  Used a genuine Lockheed style one, 1.9:1 boost ratio from Liberty Vehicle Technologies

I have a remote servo fitted on the brakes on my S2, it is bolted to the top of the drivers side toe box next to the brake tower.  You have to break into the main brake pipe to coonnect up to the servo and you need to provide a vacuum source, easy on a petrol, just a connection to the manifold.  More complicated on a diesel.

Search the forum, it has been discussed loads of times.

A friends td5 was fitted with a clutch servo (red booster I think?), and the clutch was really light (as long as you remembered to wait a few seconds after starting the motor).

On my 200Tdi 88, I fitted a remote servo as fitted to an MGB. I had a right knee replacement made all the difference to the drive-ability while the knee healed.

I have a brake and clutch servo. Both recommended.
Brake is a standard Land Rover one, the other a unit from a place that specialises in Birmingham area? Had a choice of power, 1.2, 1.5, 3 rations etc.
Welcome to look at mine.

I also have a standard Landrover S3 on the brakes and an ebay Lockheed remote lookalike on the clutch. The cheap unit (2.3:1 I think) has been absolutely fine. Martin

Yes, you can buy cheaper inline servos on eBay and the like.

 :-\
Be warned !
There are fake/copies out there.
The genuine Lockheed servos have "Lockheed" cast in the barrel.

I'm not saying the cheapo copies are rubbish, they may well work OK.
Myself, I have bought 2 genuine Lockheed kits from the MG Hive  :first
The 2nd one is for the clutch circuit.
Unfortunately I've not been able to test it anger as my Panda Camper is still off the road awaiting a new engine.
