My bronze green Series 3 has dull paintwork through UV exposure mainly. I can brighten it up with a good polish but it doesn't last long. I've been looking at Owatrol Colour Restorer. Had anyone used it and what were the results?

I’ve used it, I didn’t realise how much mine had faded. I only done it about a month ago so can’t comment on the durability but it certainly looks good.

Thanks. Worth a try then.

I've not used Owatrol but it does look good. I have used other products which seem to give the same results and were a lot cheaper but need redoing in about 8 to 10 weeks when they had gone back to the dull finish.
Perhaps Owatrol retains the finish ???
It would be good to see pictures 3 and 6 months on, without retreatment....
edit-
just to add that these cheap products give results that look the same but with a short life :shakeinghead

Just ordered 125ml for the bonnet and tops of the front wings.

A favourite trick in the used car trade years ago was an oily rag!
A bit of Diesel on a rag, rubbed over old paintwork, brings it up to a nice shine and deeper colour, but of course the first time it's washed it goes back to dull faded paint.

Perhaps after its been on a few weeks, give it a good wash and when dry report back on how it stands up to life ???
