County flags
« on: January 26, 2023, 05:23:50 AM »

Hi,

A few years ago, I noticed a lot of cars wearing the Cornish flag ... memory say a white diagonal cross on a black field. I haven't noticed any recently. Maybe Poldark only felt it necessary to display his loyalties when in Wales?

Nor can I recollect seeing a Cornish flag in the left margins of these pages.

My apologies to Alan.

I won't mention the American Confederate flag, because I can't remember what it looks like.

The county or country flags under users names on the left of the screen are entirely in the gift of the admin (me).
The Cornish and Devonish flags are very similar, but God help those who get them wrong.

Devon Cornwall

Cornwall Devon

For our overseas users I like to put their country's flag up to remind us all where they are and that they may not have a Halfords down the road and maybe even drive on the wrong side if the road  :stars

I like to give S2C members their county flag/coat of arms just so we know at a glance roughly where they are.

602 here gets a special RAF flag and a rocket up his ....
