Can you give me a run-down on the 'LPG kit' you have fitted on Misty the 1972 Series 3 SWB 2.25 Petrol LPG.
Maybe on a new thread?

Started striping paint of the doors, it was not as difficult as I thought it would be considering it had 4 layers. Synstrip, scraper and brown scouring pads.

I have a FAJ100020 "Seal - bulkhead to windscreen" from Paddocks.
It looks to be a spongy self-adhesive thing. Am I meant to stick it to the bulkhead, or bottom of the screen frame?
What came out was a rubber strip, quite different to the new FAJ100020 "Seal - bulkhead to windscreen" part.
Think I found my own answer :
"Bulkhead top to windscreen bottom seal. Comes complete with adhesive edge (bulkhead side) to aid fitting."

Looked at it sitting all forlorn at my sister's place whilst helping her partner fix the tail lights on a 40ft artic trailer he had borrowed for work.

Started it for the first time since before lockdown. First off pumped on the priming lever - which didn't do anything for a while, then petrol started appearing in the in-line filter. First turn of key - burst into life :-*. Then out for quick trip to get some fuel.

Parts arrived so I now have a working exhaust and I've taken the opportunity to sort out the battery box. As its an FFR it has a twin battery box where the centre seat would be. Mine now sports a better paint job, a sound deadening pad on the floor made from a section of old Discovery floor matting and nice brass wing-nuts for the battery hold-down strap and the battery box lid. Not a huge job but an improvement...

Moved the 61 military Mk6 inside and started dismantling the front end as it needs a few jobs doing. The front panel is going to Tony Woods and while I'm at it I'm fitting a new exhaust, replacing the brake master cylinder, fitting the correct lights and painting the front of the chassis.

Wiped the seats with heavy duty detergent, then a squirt of water, which was wiped off, rinse and repeat. The dirt that came off was unbelievable, but the seats now look like new.

Painted underseal on the newly painted fuel tank ( after checking and altering the fit on the chassis).
Wired up the ignition and spark plugs and guess what, we have a spark when the engine is turned over, woo hoo.... :-* :-* :-*

If only I wasn't being shielded I could go and get some petrol.... Maybe my mate could be dragged away from his beloved MG and get me a gallon or two.  :cheers
