What's in a name?
« on: June 08, 2020, 08:11:02 AM »

Hi,

I've been trying to think of a "stable name" for my project ... something short and meaningful.  Last evening I came up with Sam (short for Samantha, cos trucks are girls).

What's meaninful about Sam? Take a look at my avatar!

I wonder if I can get my daughter to produce some relevant artwork ... she has presented us with dinner plates bearing pictures of Wilkie.

Can anybody think of a down-side?

Hi Peter,

Hmmm!  It wouldn't surprise me, if it surprised a few people away from the traffic lights. (Being "not surprised" is not the same at as betting money on it).

As somebody once said ... "Power is a drug!  It doesn't matter how much you've got, by the end of the week, it's not enough!"   Yeah, seems about right.

Whatever ... I'd be happy with a little screamer.  A neighbor once complained that his Escort van couldn't catch my first S1 88" (new chassis and clapped S2 engine).
