Wing attachment
« on: June 10, 2023, 02:16:17 PM »

Hi all,

I'm out on a lighthouse at the moment so I can't go and check but, is there any difference in the thin end of a series III front wing top compared to a series II?
Did all SII's have two bolt fixings and the III's have one?

Cheers
George

Yes they are different. Late 2a headlight in wings had one bolt.

i think the one bolt was for vehicles with a servo
i have a pair of late 2a headlights in wings, wings from an 88" and they both have 2 bolt holes still

Thanks for all of the replies so far guys.
Is there any issue with using a one bolt wing top instead of a two bolt wing top?

I have a one bolt on the drivers side as I have a servo, the other side is 2 bolt.
The only issue I have is I had to pop rivet the front panel on after removing the s3 light panel on.
