Recommended supplier for Series 2a - door frames for front & rear

SP Panels will definitely supply, full frame or sections as required. Recent reports are that the fit of the frame is now good.
Paintman Panels will supply the door unassembled if you want to re-use an old skin.
Neither is quite to original specification. They can be modified.

Let's go back a step  what exactly are yo after and for which version. Are you wanting the internal steel frame for side or tests doors, 3 door or 5 door station wagon or a utility model, or do you mean the side frame for a lwb Station Wagon?

station wagon ?

These are about £750 per side nowadays - since they stopped making proper landrovers

YRM do repair panels if you have some originals that can be saved. :cheers

As Mark says, YRM do a series of repair panels. Prior to the complete side frames (which were a generic "defender" item) being extremely expensive, it was cheaper to get the complete side frame rather than all the repair bits !

If you look in the parts manual (under station wagon not safari as that isn't a land rover term) you will find the part numbers for each side. GOogle them and you may find some for sale
There were a pair on ebay for about £750 recently

Land Rover S11 terminology has a B/C post as a single unit and a D post. All parts manufacturers use a different system just using B and C for the two posts.

Land Rover S11 terminology has a B/C post as a single unit and a D post. All parts manufacturers use a different system just using B and C for the two posts.

Land Rover are using the correct Coachbuilding terminology that has been in use for a couple of hundred years.
A post is at the front of the front door (end of the bulkhead on out Land Rovers)
B post is at the rear of the front door (door lock on our Land Rovers)
C post is at the front of the rear door
D post at the rear of the rear door

On Land Rover SW the B and C posts become one so are a B/C post.

Sadly many Trade and Engineering terms are misused these days.

Glad the OP is sorted.
