Mystery Steel Bumper to be Identified.
« on: June 10, 2022, 11:01:10 PM »

Good evening all,
This steel bumper was in my 109 when I bought it early this year.  The vendor suggested it was a Mk2 transit, but as far as I can tell they were faceted rather than a smooth radius.
Can anyone tell me what vehicle it’s from so I can get it to someone who would find it useful.  It might be really rare!
Thanks,
James.

Posting photos seems to be a problem so I shall try one by one as replies to this post.

That was painful!  I managed two of three.  The last one was a close-up of the end fixing holes.  Perhaps resizing them might help.

To answer my own question, it could be a VW T25.  Has anyone got one of those, or have access to one, to check?

😀 yes resizing photo's does help but how successful that is depends on what system you using, how you took pic' and how puta literate you are ...
Anyway back to bumper. Now we can see whole length it has a distinctive curve which I think rules out the transit.

I am going to refine my guess.
Its the front bumper off a VW Vanagon.

  Hi James

So who guessed correctly and where do we go to collect the price for being correct?
