Wheeler Dealers 28/4/22
« on: April 21, 2022, 10:51:38 AM »

OK it's a series 3, but on 28th April - 21:00 they are looking at a 1976 car. I think this is the trailer I've seen where Ant deals with oil leaks.

Looking forward to that!

I think I have seen that one, a US based episode.

Watch out for Mike arriving at the workshop with a set of new parabolic leaf springs to replace the perfect looking original springs but then they are never mentioned in the program again although you can see they get fitted at some point...

Thanks for the heads-up Tim.

Although I enjoyed the programme when Ed C was there I now find it unwatchable because of the arrogant Ant, with his demonic staring eyes, and Mike.

Yes, saw the parabolics. And what a waste of air time on acquiring the winch and building the roof rack.

Did you notice the broken top on the red lever? Or the shocking state of the interior?

Strange to use the winch on a easy to drive up slope :stars

I was looking forward to seeing this programme, but overall I was disappointed.

Best part for me was Ant manually adjusting the Injection Pump to sort out the smoke issue.   Not sure if timing tools were used off camera to get the timing spot on?

Roof rack was over priced at £2600!  and did not look anything like Land Rover originals.   Roof rack was probably only fitted to showcase the local manufacturing company.

Nothing was done to the interior, missing window locks, broken Red Hi/Low Knob.
