Looks 2A to me, right hand drive but no air intake for the heater on the left wing panel.

I have seen photos of the Land Rover fifth wheel kit but don't think I have ever seen one in the metal.

Dixon Bate did an approved 5th wheel adaption for a standard 88" Chassis cab . Land Rover used to have a couple of SWB units at Lode Lane for carrying body panels about in the factory.

And what about the starting gates one used to see being transported to the horse racing, maybe not as early as Series two though.

They were / are 90s or at least the ones I used to look after were.

They probably did have something similar earlier though.
