Hi jeremy

That's always cool when you watch you car (or rover) flip back over to being a new car.

I've watched Volvo 240s pass 100,000, 200,000, 300,000 and 400,000, but never as neatly as the speedometer in the pictures posted. Mine have always got out of line, with 9's and 0's all over the place, and only settle themselves down after about 20 miles. They have never actually read x00,000 all neatly in a row.

:first heres to 100,000 more or 99,999 ???

i just put a speedo on the one i'm building from an old 109 i had, it is on 98,000, cant wait to see it start again :RHD

my old 130 had 500,000 on the same 300tdi engine when i sold it, the land rover engines do go for a long time, if you treat them right

Thanks, we'll see how the next 100k go - true, if I put the miles odometer back in, I'd have to reset it to 62,000 ... !

I was impressed that the photos caught the "flip". I was driving in a scary onramp situation in France and couldn't watch the odometer. I was just yelling, "someone take a picture! someone take a picture!" You can see that I had to accelerate into a new lane when it hit "0".
