You can't fit tubes to tubeless rims and Rangemaster tubeless tyres are very scarce if not unavailable.

If Avon Rangemasters (AKA Ditchfinders) are made at the Melksham plant, their days are numbered as the plant is closing. Won't solve my bugbear about the cost of TMs either.

Probably not. Parent company has been absorbed by Goodyear. Cheaper to make tyres out East  >:D

The Melksham factory is closing at the end of December this year. When I drove past it a few years ago it looked somewhat dilapidated.

Whilst down there at University in the early '70s I sometimes "conducted" on the works bus.

Waiting at the turn round I wandered around the factory (no H&S in those days) and watched the tyres being made.
It looked pretty Victorian back then, lots of steam, heat and noise.

I have tubeless defender rims om my 88 , the best tyres ihave had were Bfgs ,I run 22565r16 Continenrals on my 88 for gearing reasons , but 235 85 r16 would be nearest 750s , the 205s with tubes Ihad were prone to punctures,  never had a problem with tubeless .

If you have been using the Michelins for a while and like them, you won’t find anything to better them at 7.50 for ride and handling on the road.

For myself, I chose to move to wolf wheels to allow for both a wider choice of tyres, and to run tubeless, but I still decided to go with Michelin latitude cross in 235/85r16 - totally transformed the ride, reduced road noise, improved wet handling and fuel economy in comparison to my previous all terrain tyres.

ATS often run discount deals on Michelin.

Camskill list a range of 7.50s The Michelin XZL is one of the older patterns, the Goodyear G90 another than was used by MOD.  No sign of the Rangemaster....

Because of the raised lip to prevent the tyre coming off the rim. The tube will snag on it. If you look at the photo in the For Sale section for Wolf wheels you can see it on the right side in the picture of the inside of the wheel.

You can't fit tubes to tubeless rims …

I’d question that statement too. Nothing inside a rim will be able to damage a tube. The lip referred to is no more than a gentle swelling, formed just inside the tyre bead.

Why not?
.W.
Discussions I had with both Michelin in UK and Land Rover engineers when I worked there, both said fitting tubes to wheels ( with Humps) designed for radial tubeless tyres is not recommended due to the potential for a catastrophic deflation.  This is due to the high pressures required to seat the tyres when fitting, to get the bead to "jump" over the humps. We have all probably noticed the bang when this happens . When  a tube is fitted it starts to grip the case of the tyre  as it is inflated and in the case of  wheels with humps the pressure can be such the tube cannot slip around as the bead jumps over  the hump and it can be locally stretched beyond its elastic limit and create a localised weak spot . As the engineer said , if it immediately fails , you know there is a problem , but if it doesn't, it could fail at a later time especially when the vehicle is carrying out a violent evasive manoeuvre, exactly the time you don't want it to.
There is no way of checking, so the recommendation is don't do it. I.  I am sure there are many tyres fitted with tubes  on tubeless wheels without an apparent issue but I for one wont do it.

Conversely, during the same conversation I was advised that if you fit radial tyres to wheels without humps, a tube should always be fitted, as the grip on the road  afforded by radials  means the tyre can be pulled off the rim with  catastrophic deflation  if one isn't fitted.
