Dunlop Road Grippers are also a good choice.  Not sure about UK but in Aus you can get them as brand new takeoffs from Toyota Dealers (Landcruiser customer dealer upgrades)  if you know where to look.

I don't think they are approved for over here unfortunately. I've done that trick a few times myself thanks to my job which enables me to buy 70 Series parts for export. We don't get the 70 Series here in the UK. Any you do see are a real rarity.

I've sent an email to an "expert" (I use the word in contempt but the site allows you to speak to one) at Avon Tyres asking if Rangemasters are still being manufactured in both tubed and tubeless versions.
I'll report back when (if) I get a reply.

A tyre company in Holland have had them before now, usually complete units on lock ring type of wheels.

I've got some Avon Ranger AT 235/85, these are tall and not as wide as most 235/85 and seem to grip & wear well :RHD

Yep were pretty lucky I think to get these, and fairly cheap if you keep an eye out. I recently picked up a set of the Bridgestone Duellers in the 225/95 off a Landcruiser for $400 for the set of 5. A local tyre dealer here has the government contract for swapping out the Road Grippers for Toyo's, he does them at $140ea fitted with tubes if needed, not to bad.

I never received a reply from the "expert" at Avon re Rangemasters. I can only presume they're not being manufactured any more.
