Mounting Bracket For An Inspection Lamp
« on: April 27, 2023, 11:52:55 AM »

I have been asked to see if I can find a mounting bracket for an inspection lamp. Is there such a thing? I figured that this is the best (only) place to ask.
Thanks,
Jim

I haven't actually seen anything like that. Usually the inspection lights were simple hook ups with a power lead. I think much depends on what sort of inspection light and where it is wanted? I assume this is for stowage?

    &  to the Forum.

The picture ^^^ shows what we over here call an "inspection lamp" the leads plug into the 2 dash sockets.

In use it's just hung up where it's needed. There's enough flex for the lamp to reach all round the vehicle and under the bonnet.

When not in use they are normally just laid on the parcel shelf.

I used terry clips to hold mine in place,
And I also hard wired it with a switch on the panel

Ha! Yes, that wouldn't even survive the potholes in my nearest road. Quite like the clips in Uftonandy's post.
