Left it with my mechanic to fit a new set of Jones springs, while I swan about in his 14 year-old Discovery4 he's loaned me.  And very nice it is too! :tiphat

If that doesn’t bring it to rain, nothing will.

There's the voice of doom if ever I heard it!  ;)

I was once photographed driving down the A3 in a 2A with the top off, sporting an umbrella as cover in the traffic. Made it into LRO if I remember correctly.

I ran my first land rover topless for the first 18 months.  I used to keep the seat bases in fertiliser bags when they werent being sat on, it was a pain in the snow though as you had to clean the inside as well as the outside.  I was young and foolish then

Loads while you all been away

Lots of stainless steel bits, and now have the bulkhead back on taking the rust off and prepping it for paint

Maybe too many picks, say and I will start doing less if thats what you want,

I still can't believe you do all this on a front garden with no walls or gates. I'm also a front garden builder, but thankfully with walls and a gate.
if you did that here you'd wake up with it gone or the scrap mans crane would have it.

coming together though :RHD

I think your rear silencer is 90 degrees out. I am pretty sure it should sit level.

Run to the tip this morning to get rid of some old plastic fencing and the old radiator out of Misty. Then went to get fuel ready for a weekend going to the Heskin show.
Also ordered some oil from Smith and Allan late Wednesday night arrived this morning before ten am. Used the club discount too.

Ignore the leaf springs there coming off,  making the most of the warmer weather getting some primer on areas that have been cleaned.

I went to the Rainscombe Park Country, just down the road from home. Lots of Wiltshire tractor enthusiasts wandering around in overalls clucking over old tractors. Good show of Land Rovers there and the Range Rover Register Wessex area had a display there including the prototype driveable rolling chassis.

Quite a few Series 2s about and some 2As. Anybody on here present as I did see some S2C stickers? Got me thinking that it might be a nice venue for next year for a club stand, I'd be up for making it happen.
