Where to fix the seat fixing leather straps (body side)
« on: July 01, 2023, 09:03:28 AM »

Hello,
I'm going to replace the dried/ missing leather straps for the front seats on my 109 (SII). On the body, there is currently nothing where the leather straps could hook onto (??).
Can't find anything in the parts catalogue. If someone would have a picture / part-no. would be great. :) Guess there's a special bolt.
Thanks Andreas

I think you are looking for Stud 320345 which I believe has been superceeded to MXC4657. It fixed with a screw through the centre and a nut . Its listed on page 331 in parts book , no picture against it

Yes, MXC4657 seems to be what I'm after! Even in my parts book (Land Rover Series II & IIA Parts Catalogue Bonneted Control Models) its not on p331 (this page is empty and in the susp. chapter)

Is one per seat correct? (or two?)

The above pic is good - as long as your 109" is not a Station Wagon.

Ok - that helps. Maybe 5 than in total with the adjustable driver seat on the 109. Need to check next week on the vehicle as it is parked somewhere else. I was already wondering as the middle and passenger lower seat cushions are not really fixed... If I remember correctly, there are at least already holes in the cross bar behind the seats.
