I didn't think it was broken! Seems to be doing its job rather too well at the moment, but point taken!  :tiphat

Anyone who doesnt know as Wittsend will tell you it is like Rome built on 7 hills, a bike riders nightmare.

Peter

I thought Sheffield had more hills than Rome. Birmingham has more canal network than Venice

Sheffield was built on six hills, like Rome - there may well be more hills around.

With bated breath now waiting for a discussion about oil v grease in hubs, or tyre pressure.

Just think how much time historians in 500 years time are going to spend wondering what our obsession with towing weighs signifies.

Hi ,

Changing the subject (just a smidgen) ...

The DRAWBAR PULL cannot he more than the weight of the towing vehicle multiplied by the co-efficient of rubber on tarmac. But I know what they are getting at ... I think.

But going down hill, towing a 1-ton trailer, without braking, will give a draw-bar PUSH.

"But Officer, over a long journey, it evens out!" :stars

I'll get my coat.
