You need to contact Age UK
... and you need to keep on "badgering" them for help and advice.

You need someone to come out and access your situation.

Your carers won't do this - it's not their job, so you can't expect them to do anything other than care for you.

You can also try the Citizens Advice

You need to direct (and wrath) your "letters" to the right targets.

Doctors don't seem to do much these days - they certainly won't do house calls.
If you are ill - send for the ambulance.

Likewise District Nurses or whatever they are called now won't call - you have to be ill.

Being old and infirm is not an illness.

Hi,

FOR THE RECORD ... the Freelander departed at almost exactly 18.30hrs tonight.

I was dealing with the dealer, while the other bloke (presumably the new owner) was driving away.

The car was gone before I could get the green slip filled in.

Not a problem, providing the new owner gets it MOT and taxed, before being "pulled".

The dealer had already paid, in full, in cash, on Friday, and I had handed over the V5 and keys.

Not getting the green slip filled in could lead to traffic offences racked up in your name?

Hi LR,

I am/was aware of that.

I know the Trading Name and Business Address of the dealer who paid me the cash. He has been trading from the same address for many years.

He took the key immediately after handing me the cash, but left the car until I was able to find the V5.

Last night, knock on door. I handed the dealer the V5, he waved to his mate who was already sitting in the car. I reckon they had both vacated my premises within the next 20 seconds.

I assumed he had already sold the car.

Watch this space.
